CATL and Maersk Establish Global Strategic Partnership to Jointly Drive Supply Chain Electrification and the Low-Carbon Transformation of Logistics

On October 9, CATL, the global leader in power battery technology, officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with A.P. Moller-Maersk, a world-leading integrated logistics provider (hereinafter referred to as "Maersk"), in Hong Kong. As Maersk’s preferred partner in battery technology, CATL will jointly explore electrification applications across various segments—including container fleets, port ecosystems, inland transportation, and warehousing—while collaborating on areas such as power system design, energy management, and battery recycling solutions. Leveraging CATL’s industry-leading expertise in advanced battery technologies, energy storage solutions, and battery recycling, the two companies will work together to accelerate the electrification of critical supply chain links.
