Sina Auto reports that in mid-2026, SAIC Motor carried out a coordinated personnel reshuffle across its four core business segments, encompassing SAIC Passenger Vehicles, SAIC GM, SAIC Volkswagen, and Huayu Automotive. According to Automotive Business Review, Lu Xiao has succeeded Wang Jun as head of SAIC Passenger Vehicles; Xu Ping has been appointed general manager of SAIC GM; Tao Hailong has been transferred to serve as general manager of Huayu Automotive; and Wu Yun, a seasoned local marketing executive at SAIC Volkswagen, has been promoted to the brand’s top executive for complete vehicle operations.
