This charging corridor stretches over 5,000 kilometers and features a total of 27 Supercharger stations along the way. Tesla China officially announced the launch of the charging corridor via its Twitter account. The company wrote on Twitter: "Spanning 5,000 kilometers with 27 Supercharger stations, we’ve unveiled China’s longest-ever route connecting East to West."
This 5,000-kilometer-long charging corridor is built along the ancient Silk Road, stretching from Zhoushan all the way to the western city of Horgos. The Silk Road emerged during the Han Dynasty, establishing a vibrant trade network that connected Central Asian countries—including Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as modern-day India and Pakistan. The Silk Road even once extended as far as Europe.
