Musk: Nearly 75% of Tesla's component production is fully automated.
Today, Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted on social media, stating that nearly 75% of the production process for Tesla vehicles is fully automated. Only the wiring harnesses and final assembly—areas where manual labor still plays a significant role—account for less than 10% of the overall production cost.
