This validation process began in January 2023 and is currently being implemented in Hubei Province.
IT Home has learned that Honda China announced it is collaborating with Dongfeng Motor Group to conduct vehicle-integration technology verification for Honda's fuel cell system in Dongfeng's light-duty commercial vehicles. According to the announcement, the two companies will jointly carry out comprehensive performance tests under various real-world driving conditions, focusing on factors such as environmental adaptability, powertrain efficiency, and durability—aiming to validate the reliability and long-term performance of Honda's fuel cell system in the commercial vehicle segment.
Additionally, Dongfeng Honda announced at the 20th Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition that it will continue to advance its electric vehicle brand strategy around its electrified brand "e:N" and the e:HEV / e:PHEV intelligent hybrid systems. The company’s all-new, independently branded model will also be unveiled within 2023. On the product front, Dongfeng Honda will keep rolling out the e:NS series and PHEV vehicles, with electrified models expected to account for 50% of its lineup by 2025.
