At 12:00 PM on November 15, 2022, two badminton singles players representing ADT arrived early at the Classmates' Badminton Hall on Eshan Road in Pudong New Area, awaiting the official start of the Dongchang Group's 2022 "Innovation Cup" Badminton Tournament. ADT has always prioritized the physical and mental well-being of its employees, encouraging them to maintain fitness despite heavy workloads. Each year, each project manager utilizes customer maintenance shutdowns or other staff gatherings to organize fitness activities tailored to the project team, such as square dancing, aerobics, and military training.
This year's group badminton tournament, themed "Italian Badminton Competition"—Striving Forward on a New Journey, Striving Forward into the Future," featured three events: men's singles, women's singles, and doubles. In a flash, the two badminton players, selected through rigorous internal selection, representing ADT in the men's and women's singles competitions, had already stretched their muscles, refreshed their spirits, and confidently took to the court. Our women's singles representative, Gao Jianxia, is a project manager from a paint project in Shanghai. The court was instantly a dazzling spectacle, filled with shuttlecocks flying back and forth, creating a dazzling display. After a single-elimination preliminaries, she fought her way through to the women's singles semifinals. She then battled on, defeating her opponent in the best-of-three, 11-ball semifinals, ultimately securing third place in the women's division. Our men's singles representative, Xia Zaiqi, is a manager from the Human Resources Department. Despite facing a formidable opponent in his first competition, he fought hard but still failed to defeat him.
