——Recalling the Company Headquarters' "Safe Travel" Training Event
At 1:30 PM on December 17, 2021, the ADT Labor Union and Corporate Management Department jointly held a "Safe Travel" traffic safety training session for all employees from various functional departments at headquarters in the company's headquarters conference room.
Employees working in the headquarters office face far fewer hazards on the jobsite than those working in project departments, and are therefore much less likely to be injured. However, since headquarters staff primarily commute by electric scooter or private car, the potential for traffic accident injuries remains significant. In light of this, the trainer for this training session, Huang Qiang, Manager of the SAIC Building Property Project Department, focused on traffic safety knowledge, including the fire hazards of electric bicycles and the classification of motor vehicle accidents.
The traffic safety training session began with a video of an accident, showcasing the shocking and explosive scenes of electric bicycle explosions and spontaneous combustion. The video demonstrates that when charging an electric vehicle with a non-standard battery, the process from smoke to explosion is typically very short, measured in seconds, with the shortest instance occurring in just one second. A fire in an electric vehicle can have devastating consequences, seriously endangering the lives and property of both the driver and others. With hundreds of electric vehicle fire accidents occurring nationwide each year, the frequency of these accidents is unimaginable. This training also reviewed key points for fire extinguisher use and addressed key points related to vehicle accidents, such as the fact that large vehicles like trucks have excessive right-turn radii, which can affect the safety of nearby non-motorized vehicles.
This traffic safety training not only utilized videos and explanations, but also involved interactive discussions and lively discussions to deepen understanding and retention of key learning points. The training taught everyone that only by continuously raising safety awareness, cherishing life, preserving happiness, and resisting traffic safety violations can we truly go to work happily and return home safely!
