On the morning of June 23, 2021, the Dongchang Group Party Committee, commemorating the centennial of the founding of the Communist Party of China, organized a themed event themed "Tracing the Footsteps of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Celebrating the Centennial of the Founding of the Party." Comrade Yang Fan from the ADT Party Branch was fortunate to participate, visiting the birthplace of the Party—the Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai—as well as the Red Boat on Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing and the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall.
Knocking through the dark wooden doors of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, returning to the scene of "earth-shaking" 100 years ago, retracing the history of the Party's founding, experiencing up close the revolutionary culture and the original aspirations of revolutionary predecessors who dedicated their lives to upholding them, was a spiritual awakening and baptism for the young generation. From the heated debates at the conference to the twists and turns of the Red Boat on Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing, Dongchang Group Party members gained an immersive understanding of the glorious history of the Communist Party of China and experienced the precious "Red Boat Spirit" of the Chinese revolution. All the Party members present were filled with emotion and passion. Through this on-site visit, Party members studied Party history and appreciated the revolutionary spirit of the older generation of revolutionaries, their pioneering spirit, and their invaluable qualities of perseverance and forge ahead. This significantly enhanced the Group Party Committee's collective cohesion, centripetal force, and influence, and raised the ideological awareness of Party members. They strive to fully incorporate these outstanding qualities and spirit into the Group's future work and development.
The Communist Party of China has celebrated its centenary, laying the foundation for a century of hard work and establishing its cause, forging a century of glory and ushering in the future. There will be countless more brilliant centuries to come. Only by always remembering history can we face a better tomorrow; only by remaining steadfast to our original aspirations can we overcome obstacles, continuously meet challenges, resolve difficulties, and create new prospects for our work.
