Baidu IDG Operations Management Head Posts Late at Night: Jidu's Intelligent Driving and Map Navigation Services Remain Fully Operational, with Related Features Now Back to Normal.

On the morning of December 19, Li Tao, head of operations and management at Baidu IDG, posted an update addressing follow-up solutions for Jidu Auto and responding to several key concerns from users recently. Li Tao assured that ASD and map navigation services will remain fully supported by Baidu and will not be discontinued. He also revealed that Baidu Cloud team members have been working closely with Jidu's technical team to streamline redundant resources and ensure service continuity. Meanwhile, essential app features such as SMS verification codes have already been restored.
Li Tao revealed that the IDG team has taken over the highly anticipated, user-critical RTK service for high-precision positioning, ensuring there’s no risk of "autonomous driving becoming unavailable simply because RTK fails." He added, "Jidu has always been just one among many customers of our mapping business, so maintaining regular updates is no challenge at all—users can rest assured."

Additionally, regarding the future solutions for Jidu Auto, Li Tao stated that Baidu, Geely, and Jidu are jointly advancing the process. They have already addressed user concerns on Jidu's official account, responding to questions about intelligent driving features, in-car services, after-sales support, charging station services, and more. Although some issues haven't reached a final resolution yet, Baidu assures users they won't be left behind. P.S.: The Jidu app has pushed notifications addressing eight key concerns frequently raised by users.
