On January 1, BYD released its preliminary production and sales report for December 2025, showing that new-energy vehicle sales for the month totaled 420,398 units, a year-on-year decrease of approximately 18.2%. For the full year 2025, cumulative sales reached 46,024,360 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 7.73%. Among these, pure-electric vehicle sales in December were 190,712 units; for the full year, cumulative pure-electric vehicle sales amounted to 2,256,714 units, a substantial year-on-year increase of 27.86%.
