                                                                           — Recalling the resettlement coordination efforts for the Zhangjiang Zhongtong Project during Typhoon "Chanthu" in 2021

        On September 13, 2021, the Shanghai region was temporarily affected by Typhoon No. 14, "Chanthu," prompting all levels of government departments to systematically mobilize and prepare for defense measures. Around 8:00 a.m. that day, Dai Chunlin, Manager of the Zhangjiang Zhongtong Property Project Department, received a call from the Zhangjiang Police Station, requesting assistance in accommodating more than 200 construction workers from the nearby Zhangjiang Twin Towers construction site—until the typhoon warning was lifted.

        After receiving this message, Manager Dai immediately activated the emergency relocation plan and urgently notified both the property owners and all departments within the project team to begin preliminary preparations. Around 11:00 a.m., two police vehicles from Zhangjiang Police Station led the way as four large buses arrived at the Zhangjiang Zhongtong Industrial Park, carrying more than 200 people in total. At the scene, under the direct guidance of Manager Dai from the project team and the careful coordination of security personnel stationed at various checkpoints, all relocated individuals were smoothly escorted into the temporary shelter— a 4,000-square-meter underground parking garage. As the displaced construction workers settled down, spreading out their bedding and personal belongings in designated open areas within the basement, they instantly felt a sense of calm. There was no sign of panic or confusion on their faces. Given the large number of people being relocated to the park, Manager Dai implemented a "dual-track" management approach: while ensuring the smooth continuation of daily operations throughout the campus, he also provided meticulous care and support to the newly accommodated workers. This effort continued until around 1:00 p.m. on September 14, when the team received official notification that the typhoon warning had been lifted. In the end, the project team successfully completed the urgent relocation task assigned by Pudong New Area, demonstrating exceptional efficiency and compassion.

        The Zhangjiang Zhongtong Property Project is a team that can both step up and deliver outstanding results! Over the past 29 hours, despite security personnel significantly shortening their patrol intervals and cleaning staff dramatically increasing the frequency of restroom cleaning on the first floor, the Zhongtong project team remained fully responsive to command and acted swiftly. What everyone was thinking was: "What else can I do to support our relocated brothers and sisters?"
