The FAW-Volkswagen Changchun Plant II Coating Project Department, a newly expanded audit project for 2020, participated in the company's first remote external audit of the three major systems on January 7-8, 2021.
ADT's 2020 external audit of the three major systems was postponed to January 6-8 and February 1-5, 2021, due to the pandemic. For both the company headquarters and the audited projects, the 2020 external audit of the three major systems served as a recertification audit for the ISO 9001:2015 quality and ISO 14001:2015 environmental systems, as well as a revision audit for the ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety system. Furthermore, the 2020 external audit of the three major systems placed a greater emphasis on employee occupational health and outsourced work.
As a newly expanded audit project for 2020, the FAW-Volkswagen Changchun Plant II Coating Project Department faced considerable audit pressure. However, the project team, starting with the project manager, placed great emphasis on standardized management, strictly implementing company rules and regulations and client requirements. They took seriously any issues identified during the internal audit, promptly implementing corrective actions, and implementing them in their work.
Although this remote audit was the first time the company had ever conducted an external audit, the project department was able to promptly provide the necessary inspection materials, including audio, video, and documents, via the network, in accordance with the auditor's requirements. Truly, a minute on stage takes ten years of hard work off stage! Due to the project's standardized daily operations, the audit requirements did not become a burden on the project. The auditor passed the two-day audit, which included some requirements for the project department's risk-based work approvals and received high praise.
