Since 2004, China's automotive manufacturing industry has experienced a period of rapid growth, peaking, stabilization, and current contraction and diversification. Wastewater treatment in the automotive manufacturing industry must comply with local government-mandated wastewater discharge standards, and ensuring water quality is always the top priority. While wastewater treatment services are not new technology in other industries, they are not particularly mature in the automotive industry, and further derivative services, such as energy-saving and emission-reduction services, have emerged.
ADT Facilities Management Co., Ltd. is a leading provider of paint and cleaning services for vehicle manufacturers in China, holding a significant share of the domestic market. The company continues to explore new service areas, such as line tracking, fixture stripping, and sled cleaning. It has also expanded into water treatment services, such as spray booth circulating water treatment. In 2019, the company officially took on the water treatment services for Skywell Automotive (Shaoxing Base). After nearly six months of operation, the facility now meets national Class I emission standards, and the pond is suitable for raising koi. In 2020, the company will further expand its business in other domestic manufacturing bases (Changsha and Qingdao). At the same time, it is actively negotiating energy conservation and emission reduction projects with major automakers, exploring potential collaborations.
