According to the latest statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: In July, automobile production and sales continued the recovery trend that began in the second quarter, with monthly output and sales reaching 2.201 million and 2.112 million vehicles, respectively. These figures represented month-on-month declines of 5.3% and 8.2%, but year-on-year growth of 21.9% and 16.4%, respectively. From January to July, cumulative automobile production and sales totaled 12.314 million and 12.365 million vehicles, respectively, marking year-on-year decreases of 11.8% and 12.7%. Notably, the decline rates narrowed by 5 and 4.2 percentage points, respectively, compared to the period from January to June.
