To implement the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, better convey the care of the Party and the government to enterprise employees, and create a more favorable business environment, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions decided to organize free health checkups for migrant construction workers in 2020. To show concern for employee health, care for frontline workers, serve employees, further safeguard the health rights and interests of migrant construction workers, and enhance their sense of gain, the Shanghai ADT Facilities Management Co., Ltd. Trade Union, with the support of the Pudong New Area Federation of Trade Unions and the Dongchang Group Trade Union, implemented the 2020 annual health checkups for migrant construction workers in its subordinate project departments and completed them all by the end of October.

Technical Exploration, Innovation First—20th Annual Company PDCS Technology Exchange Meeting & Tianjin Innovation Lab Inauguration Ceremony

Despite a difficult start to 2020, it hasn't slowed our pace of technological innovation. In September, ADT and FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin Plant partnered to share resources, ushering in the era of big data in the paint shop. China's first PDCS Innovation Lab was established in the paint shop of FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin Plant. On the afternoon of September 15th, General Manager Tian Hong, along with Marketing Director Chen Ye, Technology Director Li Min, Tianjin Plant Vehicle Manufacturing Department Director Liu Dong, and Paint Shop Manager Zhao Chensi, attended the lab's unveiling ceremony.

Summary of the First Half of Fiscal Year 2020 "Micro-Innovation" Proposal Campaign

Continuing ADT's tradition of driving innovation, the Technology Department continued its "Micro-Innovation" proposal drive within operations departments in 2020. By the end of June 2020, a total of 110 "Micro-Innovation" proposals had been received from various operations departments. These proposals were broken down by month: 38 in February, 38 in April, and 34 in June. By four key areas, 21 proposals focused on safety improvements, 12 on dust particle improvements, 39 on cost savings, and 38 on management improvements. In July, four "micro-innovation" proposals were shortlisted for promotion from the proposals submitted in the first half of 2020. These proposals included "Replacing scotch tape with magnetic particles for track film sealing" by the Fengfeng Passenger Vehicle Wuhan Plant Painting Project Department, "Improving the cleaning quality of ion air knives" by the Geely Dajiangdong Project Department, "Renovating the waste bins at the PVC deprotection lower plastic parts station" by the Yizheng Project Department, and "Improving the paint residue purge of the four-door fixture for electrophoretic bodywork" by the Geely Dajiangdong Project Department. These proposals not only improved their respective projects and reduced their operating costs, but also provided shared inspiration for projects in other systems.

Dust is the biggest enemy of automotive paint shops. The cleanliness of the paint shop environment is a significant factor directly impacting the quality of a car's surface, and this is particularly pronounced for the paint process. Precisely because of this, controlling defects in the production environment is a crucial component of ADT on-site projects. From April 23rd to 27th, 2020, Lin Liyan, Technical Manager of Paint Defect Analysis in the company's Technology Development Department, visited the Jirun Yuyao plant's paint project to provide technical guidance and training to the project team. She also helped the client resolve the difficulty of controlling dust particles in the paint mix room.
